How South Nine content is made: casino tests, odds calculations, the scoring method and error handling.

How we test casinos

Every operator in the rating goes through the same scenario on a real account:

1. Counting live baccarat tables in the lobby, with the date recorded. 2. Minimum bets and limits — taken from the table cards, never from “market averages”. 3. A real withdrawal test: minimum amount, method (card or crypto) and time from request to receipt. 4. Support: a test message in Russian with the response time measured. 5. The bonus — taken from the promotion page; the baccarat wagering contribution — from the bonus terms, with the clause quoted.

How we calculate the odds

Baseline figures are for 8 decks: house edge 1.06% on Banker, 1.24% on Player, 14.44% on Tie (8:1 payout). The 1- and 6-deck values are cross-checked against Wizard of Odds (baccarat basics); a dated screenshot is kept in the editorial archive. Perfect basic strategy in blackjack (6–8 decks, 3:2) leaves about 0.5% house edge.

Scoring method

The final score sums six criteria with weights: bonus and baccarat wagering contribution — 25%; limits and number of live tables — 25%; withdrawal speed — 20%; support — 10%; payments and crypto — 10%; mobile version and lobby — 10%. Each criterion is scored 0–10, weighted and rounded to one decimal. The rating order follows the score; any “editor’s choice” exception is stated explicitly.

How often we update

The casino rating is refreshed monthly — the rating date sits in the section header. Each figure’s check date is recorded in the reference book. The “Updated” field changes only when the content changes, not on rebuilds.

How affiliate links affect the reviews

They do not affect scores or cons — cons are mandatory for every casino, including the leader. They do affect which buttons appear in the cards: “Play” buttons lead to operators via rel="nofollow sponsored" links opened in a new tab.

How we fix mistakes

Found an error? Email [email protected] with the subject “Error”. A confirmed error is fixed within 5 business days and the fix is dated. Method questions and topic ideas go to the same address.
